Nestled in the Virgin Mountains, south of Mesquite, Nevada, this little chunk of ground squirrel heaven, is known as Little Finland. That name comes from the delicate 'fins' of sandstone strewn everywhere, often broken from their foundations, in this red rock area east of the Valley of Fire state park and Lake Mead. Shot with a Pentax 645Z and FA-645 45-85mm.
